Our Vision "2018" House of H.O.P.E.
Donate a piece of real property to help us house women & their children
Do you have a piece of property that you would like to donate to save a life and get a tax credit?
D.I.P. Foundation needs supporters like you to bring the vision for the House of H..O.P.E. to fruition.
House of H.O.P.E (HOH) will serve as a temporary place of refuge and support for women and their children to escape violent or abusive situations such as rape and domestic violence. HOH’s focus is on stabilization, safety, and empowerment.
It will also focuses on teaching women the skills necessary to manage their post traumatic stress disorder or (PTSD) symptoms, which may interfere with their ability to access important community resources and establish safety for themselves and their children.
Violence against women is so deeply rooted in our culture. The DIP Foundation recognize the need for a multi-faceted approach to the issue, including development of an effective response to the criminal justice, medical, religious, and social systems.
We believe it is necessary to raise community awareness by publicizing the issue and through education in our schools and community organizations. Finally, we recognize that every person carries the cultural seed out of which oppression rises. We believe that each of us, as individuals, must take responsibility to look within ourselves to identify our own attachment to beliefs and values which justify another’s oppression.
We believe that change must start there, within ourselves. To bring this project to fruition we are asking for urgent funding from community partners.
